Ping and I are always on the go and this time we jetted off the England to attend the Atlantis Ball in Bath! It was held in April 2026 and afterwards, we explored London and Oxford before returning home.

Landrace Bakery, cardamom buns
Bakery goods.
We spent the first three days of our trip in Bath. The first day, we explored the city, ate some pasta. We discovered that Jane Austen was from Bath and Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein while visiting.
The second day is the day I began my quest to find the best cardamom bun and then we began getting ready for the ball. We ordered some McDonald's as any American would and had a great time exploring the Roman Bath house and seeing everyones costumes! We ended the night by getting burgers.

On our final day in bath, we grabbed coffee and nata's from Nata and Co. Popped into the Guildhall Market before heading to Prior Park. We rented scooters that took us most of the way there, but we did not realize that we would have to trek up a hill to get to the entrance. Both the ticket employee and the map gentlemen were highly impressed by us trekking up the hill. :) We continued walking around the park seeing the mansion that is now a college and making our way to the Palladian Bridge. It is only one of four in the world. Since parts of Bridgerton were filmed here, we promenaded around for a bit and then headed back to the city to prepare for London.

LONDON: We did all of the walking, exploring, trains, and buses. We crammed everything into three days. We saw the Tower Bridge, Borough Market, St Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Bartholomew's Gatehouse, Staple Inn, among many other things. I am fascinated by Elizabethan London so I made it a point to see as many things that survived the great fire as possible.
Staple Inn
Opera House
Tower Bridge
Tacos from Borough Market
Dishoon dinner
Gyro fries
We are fancy travel ladies zipping around on trains! Here we are headed to Oxford for our last city of the trip.
Oxford was quaint and small. The city is mostly the university so we walked around the different colleges and explored the different alleys.
We toured the Divinity School as well as the Duke Humfrey's library. It is one of the 24 Bodleian libraries and the oldest.
Back in London to explore for an afternoon before we fly back home. We saw Big Ben, some church ruins, and continued exploring the city on foot, buses, and the tube.
Found a spice bag in London. It was good, but I couldn't finish it!
Thanks for visiting. : )
